You can participate in club events (local and off-site), attend presentations by award-winning photographers, interact with BPS members on Facebook, get your work assessed at local and national competitions, receive advice and support on photography-related questions, expand and learn new photographic skills, and meet new friends.

BPS season runs from September to April. New members are welcome at any time.

Since we have been meeting on Zoom, we have many new members that live outside the area. Therefore, we now have an out-of-area membership. The out-of-area membership can be claimed by anyone who is not residing in postcodes CH41 – CH49 or CH60 – CH66.

Membership fees (annual): 

• Individual (adult): £50 
• Junior (under 18): £25 
• Out of area (adult): £40
• Out of area (under 18): £20 

Membership is open to everyone. Under 18 members must be accompanied by an adult.
